Dear God,
There is bread baking in the kitchen, an herb bread that my husband and I both enjoy. Also, there is a pot of soup in the slow cooker, split green pea, our favorite.
The scents of the house make such a difference in mood. There is great comfort in homey smells, great comfort and much gratitude for a comfortable place to call our own.
Thank You, dear God, for soothing anything amiss in this day. And when I turn to You, there is nothing at all amiss. That is the advantage of staying close to Your heart.
