Dear God,
Having been without my computer for about a month, I have had to learn new ways of interacting with people and writing. Perhaps we are too dependent on technology, but who would be without our toys?
May I return to the computer with a new outlook, using it but not being too bound to it.
Thank You for this new day. We are blessed by Your goodness, for You never go offline.
Amen.
Dear God,
I am slowing down now, inviting a mellow feeling. I feel closest to You when I experience a mellow feeling. You cocoon me with Your strength and Your peace.
I would ask for more strength from You, now and in the future. If You boost me up with Your strength, then I am ready to face any day with a better attitude.
I don’t ask for coddling. I ask for strength to face any and every day. And if You boost me, all is well, regardless of what the day might bring. There is actually nothing wrong in my life as it stands now. But all of us do face oscillation in happenings. That is the nature of life.
Thank You for taking me in Your arms and offering me the strength that is in Your nature.

Dear God,
I have often just “forced” myself to do things, things that I thought were good. But Your way of life is easy, no force involved at all. It is true I’ve done some things by forcing myself to move forward, but Your way is much the better.
After I double-check with You about a plan of action, and give myself some time to realize Your Answer, then I am traveling the road that You have laid out.
Thank You for this insight this morning.

Dear God,
I do believe that You are immanent in all, and I do believe You are personal to all. A personal God Who answers prayer. When I rest in this assurance, I am blessed indeed. Your Love enfolds me, and all is well.

Dear God,
I have found something that helps tremendously. For two days I have spent 15 minutes first thing in the morning sitting quietly by a window in my kitchen, sipping coffee and milk, and just being peaceful. I look out over my back yard, illuminated by an outside light, and I mainly just sit.
I don’t try to talk to God. I let Him talk to me, in the silence. And this new meditative time is very helpful.
Thank You, dear God, for guiding me to such a fruitful practice.

Dear God,
You offered me Your word about the matter for which I was seeking guidance. And it was a glorious Answer, as Your Answers always are. Thank You!
I don’t know why I sometimes have to wait to hear from You, but I am happy today that yesterday’s query was answered quickly.
Be with me today for a good day in Your guidance. And thank You.

Dear God,
I have been eating more carefully since the scales showed an increase yesterday morning. And I have been drinking lots of water, something strongly recommended for health. Thank You for, in one day, showing me that good health can be improved with enough food, but not too much, and enough water, but not too much. And it is hard to get too much water.
Thank You also for letting me know that the foods that my husband and I eat are right on the beam. This from a Harvard study.
I must have been a dietitian in a previous life. I enjoy planning for a good diet. Thank You for helping me along the way.

Dear God,
When I feel enfolded in Your arms, I feel reassured about my life and the things that have happened in it. I believe that what has happened is not chance, that my soul has had a hand in the planning. And the soul is merged with You, deep within.
Help me to be tolerant of the happenings that have transpired in my life. It is very, very likely that dire happenings may have conspired with good happenings to make just the life that I wanted—for reasons that I cannot see.

Dear God,
Draw close to me now and all through the day, to make me mellow. Being mellow is a tremendous blessing. It eases whatever happens in the day and allows gentle, good work, no immobilization from anxieties.
May this day go smoothly in every way. Thank You for giving me intuitive nudges that let me know how to proceed through the day.

Dear God,
May the words that I write help someone. May the words that You place upon my heart make a difference. I would not turn anyone off from You in what I say. My finite mind might be getting it all wrong, my instincts might be wrong—but I hope not.
May my writing be completely and solely on Your beam. May these words reach out across miles and aid someone in their struggle with life.
