Dear God,
The seminal works that we first read continue to influence us and others through our love for them and remembrance of their awesome words. This includes the Bible, of course, and other, later works such as A Course in Miracles.
We owe our thanks to God for inspiring ordinary men and women in scribing these works. God does not leave us alone and helpless, but we must first turn to Him to just ask for help in our daily rounds. God is always in our corner, but when we try to go it alone, we falter. When He steps in, the changes are of course miraculous.
Thank You, dear God, for guiding my footsteps on the path back to You.
