Dear God,
On this Memorial Day, my thoughts turn to WWII, in which my father fought and from which he returned home safely. Others did not.
In our celebrations, let’s realize that these young people who died were robbed of the life they hoped to have. May we say a prayer that they live well, wherever they are, today.
