Dear God,
I must find a way to remain peaceful, regardless of what is happening around me and regardless of what I am doing. I ask for Your help in this. It will take an attitudinal healing.
You did calm me yesterday by sending me back to Jesus’ words in The Way of Mastery. Thank You.

Dear God,
When I feel enfolded in Your arms, I feel reassured about my life and the things that have happened in it. I believe that what has happened is not chance, that my soul has had a hand in the planning. And the soul is merged with You, deep within.
Help me to be tolerant of the happenings that have transpired in my life. It is very, very likely that dire happenings may have conspired with good happenings to make just the life that I wanted—for reasons that I cannot see.

Dear God,
Draw close to me now and all through the day, to make me mellow. Being mellow is a tremendous blessing. It eases whatever happens in the day and allows gentle, good work, no immobilization from anxieties.
May this day go smoothly in every way. Thank You for giving me intuitive nudges that let me know how to proceed through the day.

Dear God,
May the words that I write help someone. May the words that You place upon my heart make a difference. I would not turn anyone off from You in what I say. My finite mind might be getting it all wrong, my instincts might be wrong—but I hope not.
May my writing be completely and solely on Your beam. May these words reach out across miles and aid someone in their struggle with life.

Dear God,
Thank You for Your many blessings. I am just so grateful this morning for many reasons. A full heart. When I feel gratefulness overwhelming me, it does behoove me to express it to You.
I have sometimes wondered why gratitude is so effective at bringing more good things into my life. Like a good and loving husband, You joy in pleasing me. I find that a heartwarming thought.

This day dawns with great promise. My sun/screen porch is a delightful place to be early in the morning. Thank You for offering me a good day. Thank You for getting this day started so well.
Help me to do my part to keep the good feeling going. I do have some control over how I approach my day. It is not ALL in Your hands. I must cooperate with You.
And I will.

Dear God,
Help me to get along well with my circle of friends and family. I never get angry unless I am stressed, and I think that this is true for many people. Be with me to stay calm and collected just all the time.
This day I ask for Your patience with me. My emotions are somewhat turbulent from working too hard and too early in the morning.
Calm me down. Thank You.

Dear God,
I must listen to my heart today and every day. This orientation is mandatory, the only way that I can make it through this world happy and with a peaceful demeanor. Be with me as I seek, evermore, to listen to my heart. This orientation will involve listening to the beat of a different drummer. I will not always be understood.
Thank You for this insight, this way of knowing that I have to listen, and often follow, my heart. My mind does not always know my best way, and so I have to listen to intuition sometimes and not always reason.
Now my heart will inform my mind, and my mind will contribute when it is ready, but not in all things. With heart and mind together, I will make my way successfully.

The start of a new week. I hope for the beginning of an end to automatic anxieties when faced with a new and novel situation. Stress is in my mind, and stress can be eliminated from my personal mind when I invite You to overshadow me.
Living close to You is the best way imaginable. I will turn to You in every perplexity, sure of the calmness that will steal over me.

Dear God,
Thank You for the intuitions that come unbidden; they keep me on course. This means that I am reaching deep within myself for the spark of insight that only You can give. And thank You so much.
You provide me with what I need, at the point of need. The solution is with the problem. I only have to make sure that I am articulating the problem accurately. This sequence of events is surely one of the best things that I have going for myself. Why, oh why, does it sometimes take me so long to get my mind and heart attuned to You?
