Depending on God’s Strong Will

Dear God,

Give me Your strength, not to be self-sufficient without You, but courageous in a good sense, including You always.  If I stay close to You, there is no end to what I can accomplish.  This is not ego speaking, but supreme good sense.

You have much that You want us to do in this world.  Speak to me in Your silence and give me the will to do Your bidding.

Thank You!

Amen.

Being Strong in This World

Dear God,

Perhaps I am stronger than I realize.  Perhaps You have had Your way with me enough to strengthen me for the events of any given day.

I seek today to begin again, to begin again living in the serenity that You bless me with when I stay close to You.  It is true that strength, strength from You, offers peace in the face of any turmoil.  And none of us can live on this plane without some turmoil.

Thank You for this good morning.

Amen.

God’s Strength

Dear God,

I am slowing down now, inviting a mellow feeling.  I feel closest to You when I experience a mellow feeling.  You cocoon me with Your strength and Your peace.

I would ask for more strength from You, now and in the future.  If You boost me up with Your strength, then I am ready to face any day with a better attitude.

I don’t ask for coddling.  I ask for strength to face any and every day.  And if You boost me, all is well, regardless of what the day might bring.  There is actually nothing wrong in my life as it stands now.  But all of us do face oscillation in happenings.  That is the nature of life.

Thank You for taking me in Your arms and offering me the strength that is in Your nature.

Amen.

God’s Presence

Dear God,

I asked for Your presence in my life this morning, and immediately I felt Your being infusing my own.  I know that You live through me, but when I lose sight of that truth, it is like we are in an illusory separation again.

Give me strength, personal strength to know the truth—that You live through me, and that I am never alone for even a smidgen of time.

Thank You.

Amen.

Courage

Dear God,

I am thinking of a quote I have heard: “Courage is fear that has said its prayers.”  How true!  But just saying the words isn’t enough.  It takes the actual prayers.

And I do turn to You now.  I ask to be courageous, strong in You.  I feel that this is a prayer in Your will, and so will be answered in the affirmative.

Thank You.

Amen.
