My Hope Rests in God

Dear God,

My hope rests in You.  When I keep my mind and heart saturated by Your words from Scripture, I am safe indeed, life is good, all is well.  Whenever I don’t remember You, I falter. 

I would not falter today.  Keep me close to You as I walk through the hours.

Dear God,

As Easter approaches, I have been reading Your Scripture, taking notes on especially pertinent passages as I go.  Your Word helps me, as it has helped billions of people over the years.  May I always remember that You are here to speak to me in the pages of the Bible.

Speak to me through Your Word.  Call to mind and heart what I need to remember from Your silent counsel to me.

Thank You for following me around all the day through, living through me.

Dear God,

I want to live this day with this Scripture in my mind and heart: “This is the day which the Lord hath made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”  Beautiful words.  Beautiful sentiment in this Scripture.

May my viewers of this blog also find comfort in this word from the Bible.
