Hope

Dear God,

This Sunday morning is turning out to be just a great day!  I often think that I need “down” times to appreciate the happy ones when they come.  And I so often want to remain happy just all the time.  But life is not like that.

If You want me happy just all the time, You will have to guide my thoughts to make it so.  My own mind is very unruly.  Let me rest in Your thoughts.

Thank You for my hopeful attitude today.  Things are looking up, and that is a good harbinger of what lies ahead.

Amen.

Hope

Dear God,

Our world today seems so very conflicted. May I do what I can in my little world to spread some hope.

There have always been difficult times. When I go through tough times, I sometimes wonder if there will be an end to the problem. But there always is.

This is grounds for hope.

Thank You for planting in our hearts a desire to better things.

Amen.

Hope

Dear God,

This day I prime myself for hope, and I hope you will, too. A blog friend wrote that we need hope in these times. I agree! May I persevere with my problems not yet solved, focus on a solution, and know that all will right itself. May others do so as well, for we all have problems of one sort or another. The problems are our life lessons.

Your communion with me when I am mindful gives me hope that all things do work together for good. With hope, those things that are good happen sooner rather than later.

Thank You!

Amen.

Hope

Dear God,

I have made a list of things I want to do when the pandemic is over.  Making this list has created hope in me that things will return to normal—and soon.

May the world return to normal, but on a higher plane.  I hope that our time with our nearest and dearest has worked its magic.

Thank You, as always, for keeping us near to You.

Amen.
