Dear God,
I don’t want to be superstitious about You and Your guidance. Keep me thinking clearly, feeling clearly. If I fail at something because I do what I want to do, then perhaps this too will teach me something. A lot of my desire for precise guidance is a desire not to fail.
Sometimes I am too much of a perfectionist. I want to do Your bidding, to obey You. Gently coax me to do just that.
