Dear God,
I am enjoying sports now. My father would be glad. I don’t think You play favorites in sports, but I think You might enjoy seeing players play at their best. In any endeavor, I think You are on the side of our doing our best—not compulsively, but within reason.
You are a rational God, and I seek to emulate that quality in You. Guide my mind and heart to intuit from You, but not to employ magical thinking. This holds for games as well as life, I think.
Thank You for encouraging us to have some fun in life.
