Living in the Present

Dear God,

What a delight it actually is to live in the present!  If we don’t visit future fears or past regrets, we are safe in the moment.  Our peace is secured!  We are home with You.

Grant me the patience to live in the moment.  I won’t turn to fantasies of future or past, and I will dwell in Your company, in the present.

Thank You for giving me this insight.

Amen.
