Dear God,
I am mourning the death of a good friend today. I worked for him in his role as editor at a publishing company years ago. He encouraged me in my writing, one of the first to do so. These kinds of memories don’t fade.
May his family continue to think of him from time to time. He had the gift of friendship, one of his many gifts.
Thank You for having this individual pass through my life.
