If I have unresolved questions, I have long told myself, “Let it rest lightly on my mind.” Now I know from A Course of Love that it is my heart that I really need to listen to. My heart already knows the Answer, but it sometimes takes time for my heart to inform my mind.
When Peter Marshall, once a Chaplain to the U.S. Senate, was perplexed, he said, “I don’t know. God has not told me yet.” And he lived in the certainty that God would speak to him in a way that he could understand.
Peter was smart. And I seek to be smart with the unresolved questions in my life, too.
Thank You for reminding me, through this story, that You have everything in hand.
