Bright Spots

Dear God,

I am thinking back over my past this morning.  I once had a job that I considered boring, and it depressed me—but now that I look back on it, I know that there were bright spots.

My life today is filled with bright spots as well.  Guide my mind to be satisfied rather than bored—with anything.

Thank You.

Amen.

  1. During my teaching years, I often felt completely ill-equipped and woefully unprepared. Like a failure. But every year, my husband reminded me of that one kid, the lonely student for whom I had made a difference in school. He was right… there were always those who were my “bright spots”. xoxox
